Impact Tickets Teams with The Delta Blues Festival

JACKSON, MS (18 February 2018) – The Mississippi Action for Community Education, Inc. (MACE) has announced the appointment of ImpactTickets as the official ticket vendor for the Mississippi Delta Blues & Heritage Festival. MACE, a non-profit, rural development organization in the Mississippi Delta sponsors the Festival held in Greenville, MS., and has teamed up with ImpactTickets.com to provide local, national, and international festival goers a low cost ticket avenue when purchasing online.

ImpactTickets, a national ticket delivery system, will provide turnkey ticketing solutions for the nation’s oldest blues festival. When the Mississippi Delta Blues Festival began in 1978, it was the only major festival of its kind in the South.

It is the OLDEST continuously operating blues festival in the WORLD.  In recent years, MACE has expanded the festival’s scope to promote other aspects of African American Heritage in the Delta, such as gospel music.  MACE has also linked on-going educational and cultural programs to the festival.

In a chronically poor region, the Festival provides an economic boost contributing nearly three million dollars annually to the local economy.

“Ticket delivery is one of the most critical areas for the ultimate success of an event like the MS Blues Heritage Festival. We want to ensure our concert goers have immediate access to their tickets for a smooth entrance into one of the Nation’s most sought after events. We are pleased to partner with ImpactTickets.com as our experienced ticket source partner,” said Mable Starks, President and CEO of MACE.

Tickets will go on sale for the 41st Annual MS Blues & Heritage Festival mid-2018.
